After Addhuri, director Arjun was all geared up to start his next film, Raate with Yogi, but the actor could not accommodate dates for the director. "Our dates were not working and so I had opted out of Raate," confirmed Yogi.

According to Arjun, Yogi had to start shooting for his film last month. "He kept postponing and finally he decided to start my film only after completing shoot for his current project, Kala Bhairava. I could not wait for long and so he had to make an exit from my project," Ajrun clarified.

However, the date issue has given rise to a newcomer into the industry. "I wanted an actor who looked rugged. I had told Yogi, if not him, I would go in for a newcomer and so I selected Dhanajay, who will be known as Dhanu to the industry," he revealed.

Dhanu is from Hassan and comes from a theatre background. "He is six-feet tall and he looked like a hero material to me. Being in theatre is like a training to get to the next level," said Arjun.

Apparently Dhanu was referred by music director V Harikrishna. "I found the rugged look in Dhanu. Now that he is part of my project, he will be undergoing a workshop, which will teach him nuances of fights, dance and whatever is required for my film. I will now start my film by this month end or April 1st week," he said.
