Director Krish Joshi of Parapancha is elated as he has managed to bring Ravindra Jain, music composer, lyricist and a playback singer, to Sandalwood.

Jain, who was born visually impaired, started of his career in the early 70s.

After Raj Kapoor gave him his first break, he went on to compose tunes for Ram Teri Ganga Maili and a couple of other films directed by Rajkapoor's son Randhir Kapoor.

Jain has rendered music to many films under Rajshri Productions' for almost a decade.

"He is a legend, and for me associating with him is as good as getting Latha Mangeshkar to Kannada industry. Music director Veer Samarath and I are not his fans, we are his devotees. And we both feel that working with him is God's blessing," says the director.

"Ravindra Jain is rendering his voice for one of the songs... Huttida Ooranu Bitu Banda Mele. The lyrics have been written by Yogaraj Bhat. The song was recorded at his personal studio in Bandra," says Krish.

With Parapancha, the director has accomplished two goals. "One was to work with Ananth Nag and other one is to bring in Ravindra Jain," he says.
