Edwin's Tribute to the Country

Different people celebrate Independence Day in different ways. And actor and director Jeet Edwin has decided to do so with music. He has released an album Chalo India in Hindi and Kannada. 

Different people celebrate Independence Day in different ways. And actor and director Jeet Edwin has decided to do so with music. He has released an album Chalo India in Hindi and Kannada. 

"I wanted to express my love for the country, with a song. The album was released on August 10, and is now up on social media," says Jeetu, who was supported by children of Sujana Vidya Mandir at Electronics City.

"I have also acted in the song to the music directed by Vikas Vashista along with 25 kids. P V Vasu who heads a classical dance group supported me by bringing his dancers on board for the song. R Suresh invested money in the album with Selvam working as the cinematographer," he says.
