Puneeth

Sandalwood has a lot of gifted actors and one such actor is Puneeth Rajkumar. The actor is known for his versatility in terms of acting and singing. Now, the makers of Bahaddhur have used the actor for a voice over in their film.

Director of the film, Chetan says, "He has sung many songs in various films. This is the first time, he has given a voice over to a film."

The team says they had a reason to select Puneeth. "He is a youth icon and has been for over a decade. A lot of youth follow him, specially after the reality show, Kannadada Kotiyadipathi. His voice is well known and it holds weightage. When we approached Puneeth, we explained the film in one line and he appreciated the fact that the film is perfect for today's generation. In between his busy schedule, he came to Akash Studio for an hour on July 12 and gave his voice for the film. The commentary is three minutes long and will be played in the beginning and at the end of the film," he says.

"He speaks about the problems of today's youth, which are usually about relationships, jobs and marriage. There is a variation in his narration and in the end, there is a message," Chetan says.
