With CBI officials arresting Censor Board CEO Rajesh Kumar in a bribery case, Kannada films in line to be censored will have to wait a bit longer.

Apparently, with this case, no more Kannada films will be censored in Mumbai until further orders. The last few films that got censored in Mumbai were Bahuparak, Miss Mallige, Sharan Adhyaksha, Aryan and Tirupathi Express.

Unfortunately films can't be censored in Bangalore because the board is yet to appoint new staff. Nagendra Swamy, the Regional Censor Board Officer has his hands tied and is now waiting for the government to clear the members list. Puneeth Rajkumar's film Power *** was in line to get censored on Monday in Mumbai. But with this mess up, there is no other option but to postpone the release.
