Now we hear Odu Gowda, head of North Karnataka Exhibitors Association, has put a hold on the film’s release. It is said that the official has an issue with the film being distributed by Prasad of Sammarth Ventures. The recent fight between Prasad and theatre owner Ranganathhas not gone down well with Gowda, who has requested theatre owners across Karnataka not to release Power ***.
In fact, it is said that he is going to the chamber on Tuesday to discuss the matter with the authorities concerned. However, Prasad is confident of releasing the film. He says, “I am going to release the film no matter what. These problems are being created by people who don’t want to see Power *** release. I don’t know what is happening outside as I am busy preparing for the release. If there is a change in the plan, I will hear about it from the chamber,” he says.
