Director Srinivas Raju was surprised when he learnt that a case has been filed by a petitioner against actor Upendra, executive producer Mohan and himself. The petitioner in his complaint had said that Basavanna is a controversial film and sought the seizure of the script.
He said, “I am ready to fight this battle because nobody can take the script away from me. The petitioner doesn’t even know what the story is and he is wasting our time.”
