Sudeep Keeps a Summer Date for Hebbuli

Cinematographer-turned-director S Krishna has finally got his dates from Sudeep to start Hebbuli, which according to the director is fixed from March 2015. “I went to Chennai to meet Sudeep who is busy shooting for his upcoming Tamil film, Vijay 58 with Vijay and Sridevi. We sat and discussed Hebbuli and finally decided on a March date. Sudeep, whose hands are full of projects, will complete Vijay 58 and will follow it with a yet-to-be-titled trilingual film that will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada with KS Ravikumar, after which, he will start Hebbuli,” he says.

Krishna, who has finally gotten a nod from Sudeep, is now busy finalising the technicians and the starcast of the film, which he says will take some time. “Hebbuli will be a trilingual film and will be made according to  Bollywood standards. So it is very important for me to choose the right people for the project. The hunt for a heroine is on right now. We are on a look out for an actress who can relate to all the three languages.

Interestingly, Hebbuli’s first schedule will start from end of March 2015 and will be shot in Kashmir as Krishna feels it will be the ideal time to capture the snow and sunshine. Sudeep is an army officer in the film and we are shooting the army-related portions with Kashmir as the backdrop,” he says.

While Sudeeps fan’s are eagerly waiting for Krishna to reveal the first look of Sudeep in Hebbuli, the director only plans to release it during January/February, as he plans to launch the promos of the film around the same time.

Meanwhile Sudeep’s Ranna has completed 80 per cent of shoot and is now left with few scenes and a couple of songs that need to shot for the film.
