Director Vijayaprasad is happy to resume his dream project Neer Dose and is all set to start the camera rolling as the project has now been taken over by a new producer Ashu Bedra. This young director who is popular for his serial Radha Kalyana will now take on the responsibility of producing the film. He is also the producer of Suni’s upcoming film Simplag Innondu Love Story.

Neer Dose1.jpgConfirming the news of taking over Neer Dose, Ashu Bedra says that it has taken around three long months for him to take over the project. Neer Dose started shooting in mid-2013 and was stalled as actress Ramya failed to turn up for the schedules as she got busy with her political career around the same time. This also led to a verbal fight between actors Jaggesh and Ramya. Director Vijayaprasad who waited for a long time, finally decided to finish the film without Ramya. We asked the producer why he was keen to take over this particular project surrounded by controversy and he said, “Nobody will notice if you climb a simple mountain. But you will be the talk of the town, if you reach Mount Everest. Likewise, when I found out why a good project like Neer Dose was stalled, I got a detailed report. When I knew I had the opportunity to take over the film, I went all out to make sure that it fell into my lap. The main reason for my interest was the script and the fact that I didn’t want a good film to get shelved,” he says.

The film will now be made under the banner of Ashu Bedra Ventures for which discussions are on about the shooting schedule, star cast and other details. “Right now, I am busy with Suni’s project. Once I complete a few portions of that, I will sit with the Neer Dose team and decide how we will take  it further. This time, I will announce the day when the film will start rolling as well as the release date. This will help us to keep to the schedule,” he says.

Apparently, the director, technicians and the entire team is happy with Ashu Bedra taking over the project. “Vijaya prasad holding onto Neer Dose and not taking up any other project was also a sort of an encouragement for me. He is a happy man now. Even Jaggesh is glad that the film will roll. An official announcement will be made soon about the heroine and other details,” he says.

Director Vijayaprasad says, “My film Neer Dose put me in a spot where I personally went through a lot of mental and financial turmoil for nearly two years. But at the same time, I had the fire and was determined that the project did not die. I personally fought to revive my baby back and am thrilled that it is now getting fulfilled due to Ashu Bedra. I am eager to start the project with enthusiasm and without looking back. The first step was to find a producer for the film. Now, the next step will be to cast the right heroine,” says Vijayaprasad, who did not want to comment on actress Ramya. I am only thinking of when I can start work on Neer Dose,” he says.
