Chakravyuha Ends Rachita's Confinement

The actress will end her ‘forced’ sabbatical by shooting for Chakravyuha

Patience teaches a lot. Mainly, it teaches one to live in the moment. Rachita Ram has been living in the moment for over three months, with patience calming her energy levels whenever the urge to get back to what she loves the most pops up within her. Post her last release Ranna, she has been waiting for the Dhruva Sarja starrer Bharjari directed by Chethan, which she signed in April and Puneeth Rajkumar’s Chakravyuha to start its schedule.

The wait may just be over with the actress joining the Chakravyuha team from August 28. Currently completing the song portions for her other film Rathaavara with Srimurali, the actress says that she was committed to the two projects during her ‘forced’ sabbatical. “I did have some really good offers coming my way when I signed Bharjari and Chakravyuha. With Bharjari, I realised that the makers have a methodical way of doing their film and they wanted to be completely prepared, which took time. Meanwhile, I was told by the makers of Chakravyuha that the film will start by August-end. I didn’t want my dates to clash and so I sat at home,” Rachita explains.

The actress is taking careful steps in her career and wants to raise the bar. No wonder then that in her short career, she has managed to work with established stars, directors and technicians.  “Today, I am after projects which will help me establish myself as an actor. I don’t want to be a money  earning machine. With name and fame, money will come. I want to be a part of films like Baahubali and work with directors like Rajamouli,” she says.Having worked with stars like Darshan, Sudeep, and Ganesh, she considers Puneeth Rajkumar to be a versatile actor. “Whenever Puneeth’s name is mentioned, I go back to his evergreen film, Milana, which is one of my favourites. While he is a great actor, his dancing skills are just amazing. Going by the script of Chakravyuha, I don’t think I will get an opportunity to dance. But I will definitely wait to shake a leg with him. I look forward to know more about the humble actor as and when I start working with him,” she says.
