Pavan Wadeyar, a filmmaker who is also a lyricist and a singer and sang for his own film, Googly has yet again rendered a song in his voice for Dasara Gombe directed by Yashwanth Kumar. “This is for my friend Vaibhav, whom I got to know during my debut Govindaya Namaha. He is the hero of this film and I had written the lyrics for one of the songs and I ended up singing on Vaibhav’s insistance. He said that my song Gand Janma, which I sang for Googly, has been a hit and so he wants the same to be repeated for his film. I had no choice but to render my voice,” he says. The creative lines by Pavan go,” Kempu bottlalli erodella winealla..bilibottle erodela saarayialli.. hasiru bottlealli erodella avashadialla’. It is a song that is picturised on the hero who is scolding his girlfriend after he is been ditched by her.
“I have liked the output of the song and I hope it is liked by the audiences,” he says. The film has Aditi Rao playing the lead. On the direcorial front, Pavan is busy with Jessie and will be off to Mudigere from August 28 to start his next schedule. “Since it is a love story, I am going to places where I find lush green locales,” he says.
