Arjun Directs Daughter Aishwarya

To be made in Kannada and Tamil, the film will see Aishwarya Arjun debuting in Sandalwood opposite Chetan

Arjun Sarja's elder daughter Aishwarya Arjun, who made her acting debut in Tamil, will now be introduced to Kannada cinema by her father and we have our very own Kannada actor Chetan paired opposite her. Interestingly, this yet-to-be-titled film will be a bilingual to be made in Kannada and Tamil and will be directed by Arjun Sarja himself. Aishwarya forayed into cinema with a Tamil film Pattathu Yaanai. She produced Jai Hind 2 along with her father.

The actor and director, who confirms this news to City Express said that he will be helming a romantic project. Always known as an action hero with an inclination towards patriotic subjects, Arjun has made a curious choice by directing a film based on love. "I have made a wonderful love story. As a director, I will be playing a very different role. It is not a male or a female-oriented subject as it is a love story between a boy and a girl," he says.

Arjun will be producing the film and has decided not to face the camera. "You will see a different Arjun here. All these years, this subject has been running in my mind and those thoughts have been scripted. To top it, I should also deliver a film that the audience will find convincing. I can't be a lover boy anymore. So, the film that is visualised by me will see a younger hero and a heroine," he says.

Arjun is glad to have found the right hero for his love subject. "I find Chetan handsome with good principles. I have watched his previous films and have been quite impressed with his overall persona. He will be presented in a different way in my film. I am yet to decide whether he will be the hero for the Tamil version, but he is sure going to be part of my Kannada project," says Arjun, who has finalised Venu as the camera person. "I am still in the process of finalising the rest of the star cast and technicians," he says.

He plans to roll out the film from January end.
