Seems like success has finally come knocking at Sriimurali's doors. The actor who has had his share of rejections, failures and low moments is finally out with two successful films Ugramm and now Rathaavara. Distributor Jayanna says, "Rathaavara has set the cash registers ringing at the box- office and apparently, the film that released two weeks ago has done a business of Rs 10 crore and is earning profits."

The latest blue-eyed boy of Kannada industry, Sriimurali has caught the attention of a few producers. But he has decided to be cautious and is going with producers Jayanna and Bogendra for his next project. The details of this project will be revealed on December 17, on Sriimurali's birthday.

Interestingly the team will be launching director Narthan, who has been working as an associate of Prashanth Neel, who gave us a hit film, Ugramm. Narthan is also being introduced as a lyricist in Masterpiece and has written the title song, I Can't Wait Baby.

While this could be a special gift for Sriimurali for his  birthday, for Jayanna, his relationship with the actor goes a long way back. He shares with us an interesting anecdote. "When Bogendra and I started with the current office in Gandhinagar, as distributors, the first film we picked up for BKT (Bengaluru, Kolar and

Tumakuru) was Sriimurali's Chandra Chakori. The most prominent poster in our office is that of this film. It will remain there life long. His very first film was a blockbuster  and he followed it up with a few more successful ones. But, later, he hit a low. I am happy to see that he has risen to form now," says Jayanna and added that today he has learnt it the hard way. "He planned his career after Ugramm. From what I know, he had at least 20 producers queuing up to offer him movies after the release of Rathaavara, but he waited to choose the best. I have started liking his maturity."

Jayanna was in talks to do a film with Sriimurali before the release of Rathaavara. "I was supposed to take up distribution of Ugramm, but couldn't because around that time, I had four other projects and wouldn't have been able to pay the necessary attention to Ugramm. When the offer came for Rathaavara, I grabbed it up immediately and it is doing well."

The oneliner of this yet-to-be titled film is already ready. "The story will get ready in the next two months and simultaneously we will be finalising the star cast. We plan to start the shooting by March," says Jayanna.

It was also heard that Jayanna, who usually goes for a three-film deal with his actors, has also signed on Sriimurali for the same arrangement. “Right now, I am associating with him for one film. If everything goes well, we both may work together all our lives,” he replies.

Meanwhile, Sriimurali is on a promotional tour of Rathaavara Dandeyatre', for which he will be travelling to places like Tumakuru and Chitradurga

"I will then take a short break to celebrate my birthday with fans and family and later plan to cover a few more regions," Sriimurali says.
