NK Lohith, the new face in the producers’ brigade in Sandalwood, does not resist change. So, when he chose Puneeth Rajkumar as the lead for his debut production Chakravyuha, he raised many eyebrows. He even had the courage to change the helming ballgame by roping in Tamil director Sarvanan of the 2011 Engeyum Puppodum fame apart from getting together a unique combination of technicians. With his insatiable longing for further change, he has now got a Tollywood touch to his film.
According to sources, Junior NTR, a close friend of Lohith, will be lending his voice for one of the songs in the film. If true, this will be the first film in which the hero will be singing a song in any language. More so, the star has a Karnataka connect; his mother Shalini hails from the state.
Ask Lohith about the developments, he says, “He is my friend and I really want him to sing one song for my film, but everything depends on his return from Spain. Till then nothing can be confirmed.”
The team which is currently shooting a chasing sequence on Nice Road plans to start with the song shoot from
January at an exotic location abroad. “We will be heading to Portugal on January 7. This would be the only second South Indian song to be shot at this exotic location, the other film being Ravi Teja's Balupu. The makers are hoping for January end release and the team is making all efforts to meet the target. After Rana Vikrama,
Chakravyuha is Puneeth’s next. And, with Junior NTR’s inclusion, it is definitely going to be a treat. The film sees Rachita Ram playing the female lead with Tamil Arun Vijay included in the star cast.
