Darshan-starrer Viraat, in the making for almost three years finally came out with its first teaser on Monday which went viral within hours of its release. "The teaser gives you a glimpse of the star, who plays the character Viraat," says director H Vasu, who throws light on the story. "Viraat has all the ingredients of a commercial film. It is a movie which explores the importance of a thermal plant in the state.
Darshan is paired opposite three heroines Vidhisha Srivatsav, Isha Chawla and Chaitra Chandranath who bring in the glam factor. Each girl has a different take and believes Viraat to be a perfect match for them," Vasu
told City Express.
The film has completed the shoot and is currently in post-production. The makers are getting ready with the first copy. "We hope to release the film in
January," says the director.
Viraat, produced by C Kalyan, has dialogues and screenplay by M S Ramesh with V Harikrishna as its music director. The film sees Suhasini Maniratnam, Sumalatha, Ravi Shankar and Srinivas Murthy among others in the star cast.
