Several filmmakers in south India have tried to bag the Kat. Finally, looks like Nikhil Kumar has done it with his debut film Jaguar. Directed by Mahadev, it has had its share of hype since its launch. While the makers have chosen well-known Telugu actor
Jagapathi Babu to play a pivotal role in the film, the latest we hear from the team is that Katrina Kaif has been approached to dance to a special song in Jaguar. "Katrina has showed interest in being part of Nikhil's film after going through the script and discussions are on with the actress. It will be confirmed once the commercial terms are finalised," says executive producer, Sunil Gowda.
The actress has been waiting to pick the right movie in south India. "When we approached Katrina, she asked us why the team was particular about her. We explained that the subject demanded a heroine like her and that is the only reason.
Since she is a big star in Bollywood, we had to book her dates well in advance. We will require about eight days of her schedule in April and she is ready to give us the dates," he says.
The film will go on floors on January 4, before which they will finalise on the heroine and others characters.
