AP Arjun Scouts for Fresh Faces for His Next

The Kannada romance will see experienced technicians working with newcomers

Director A P Arjun after having worked with a star like Darshan in Airavata is back to helm a romance, for which he plans to cast only newcomers. Considering that Arjun has worked well with actors such as Yogi (Ambaari) and Dhruva Sarja (Addhuri), who started their career with him,  he now intends to recreate the magic.

The director, currently working on the pre-production of his project, told Express, "I was initially supposed to start a film with Dhruva Sarja, but that has been pushed to August since he is busy with Bharjari. So I took this project immediately after Airavata. This is not the first time I am working with newcomers and I always look forward to bringing out new talents."

This yet-to-be-titled film by Arjun is made under

Rashtrakoota Pictures, produced by V Ravi Kumar. "This is the producer's debut film and he insisted that we try new faces," says Arjun who is currently looking for a new hero and a heroine who are 23 and 20 years respectively. "Those who have the talent can be part of my new film. All that they need to do is send in some footage and a profile to me," he says.

Arjun plans to officially launch his romantic on

February 14 and wants to go on floors from March. "I should complete pre-production by January. Simultaneously, I will conduct workshops for the newcomers."

According to Arjun, this film will have a lavish budget of up to Rs12 to Rs15 crore. "The producer is keen that I also do it in Tamil and Telugu. But my priority right now is in Kannada," he says.

Interestingly, this romance will have experienced technicians with Arjun associating with music director V Harikrishna, editor Deepu S Kumar and stunt choreographer Ravi Verma. "I am requesting

cinematographer Sathya Hegde to be part of this

project, but he is right now committed to another film," he says. Those who want to be a part of the project can send in their details to aparjunambaari@gmail.com
