Father of the Bride is Back

For Shivarajkumar, who started his film career in 1986 at the age of 24 with Anand, age is just a number and time has made him only more principled. About not taking a  break even after his daughter’s wedding, the actor believes that at his age, it is always advisable to stay busy. He is already dubbing for his upcoming film Shivalinga. He will be joining the sets of Ramgopal Varma’s Killing Veerappan from tomorrow where he will be completing his last schedule.

Speaking about his line-up of films, the actor says, “I will join the sets of Kabira from the second week of October. My next project is Srikanta followed by Yogi G Raj’s Bangara S/o of Bangarada Manushya will be made under Jayanna Productions. I will also be working on Kadhar simultaneously.”

He may be a father but believes that, ‘Even if  your skin is wrinkled, the heart should be young and thus, you can win over old age.’  Though Shivarajkumar still maintains the charm of a dashing hero on screen, he says, he was more than happy to turn father-in-law in real life. “It was hectic and I felt I was playing a new character. I did get emotional for a while, when Nirupama left home but I realise that happens with every parent with a  daughter. But I was glad I got an opportunity of becoming a father-in-law. Dileep is a good person,” he says.
