Seems like Aditya is aligning himself to be part of gangster-films because that's what his fans want to see him in, especially after Edegarike.

His next, Bangalore Underworld, directed by P N Sathya, starts rolling from today. It also features Tamil actor Daniel Balaji, Avinash, Shobraj and Uday as part of the star cast.

City Express got hold of the first look of Aditya in the film.

"I have no intention of being the brand ambassador for the Bangalore underworld. I am only taking it up because the audience wants to see me in such roles, especially after my role in Edegarike that brought me recognition as an actor," he told City Express.

"I will be associating with director Sathya for the first time and we both hope to make a hit combination," he adds.

The subject is no 'usual underworld story', he claims. "Sathya has tried to keep it different," he says. "The entire film will take place in Bengaluru."

Aditya has decided to forgo his 'lover-boy image'. "I don't want to be part of such subjects if people don't want to see me play such roles," he says.

Sathya, whose last film was Shivajinagar, is making a comeback after two years.

He says, "I can't reveal even one line about the subject without revealing open the entire plot of Bengaluru Underworld."

It's a film with a message and a moral, he adds.

Sathya will shoot the film at a stretch of 45 days on the streets of Shivajinagar, Goripalya and Kalasipalya.

While the heroine is yet to be finalised, Sathya has roped in

Bhavana of Chingari fame. "She will play a pivotal role in our film and will appear in a flashback," he tells

City Express.

Produced by G Anand, the film will have Anup Seelin as music director and Aryavardhan as cameraman.
