Vinay to play lawyer in Ananthu V/S Nusrath

There is a change in Vinay Rajkumar’s work schedule. The actor will first work on Sudheer Shanbogue’s debut directorial Ananthu v/s Nusrath, and then on Sunil Thalya’s film. Sudhir’s romantic comedy, made under Manikya Productions, promises an interesting line-up of situations and characters.

Firstly, there will be Vinay playing a lawyer named Anantha Krishna Kramadharitthaya and the female lead character is Nusrat Fathima Baig.

A recent photoshoot has the actor in a lawyer’s coat. Meanwhile, the team is on the lookout for an actress to play the heroine, and they are particular that the actress fits the role to a T. “This will be a film with no controversies and we are set to make a pure entertainer,” says Sudheer who has written the story and screenplay, and is directing the film.

“Ananthu v/s Nusrath is a fresh subject with no ‘hidden inspiration’. I have written the story, which will introduce the audience to a new genre with limited characters,” he says.

The director plans to include Aamir Khusrow’s ghazal from the 12th Century and will apply for permission to use a track composed by Kuvempu, details of which will be revealed once the formalities are done with. Sunil, who has worked in serials and assisted directors such as Suni, seems have hit on a novel and exciting subject and this going by the storyline and title. Muhurath for the movie has been planned for September 4 and work on it will start mid September.

The film will have Abhishek Kasargod’s cinematography and music by Sunadh Goutam.
