A ccording to latest buzz, Sruthi Hariharan is all set to get back to Mollywood. She will be joining the cast of Solo, a bilingual film to be made in Malayalam and Tamil, which will also see Bejoy Nambiar and Dulquer Salman working together for the first time.
The shooting for the film started last November and Sruthi is the latest entrant, and she will join the sets in mid April.
Sruthi had started her career in the south with a Malaylam film Cinema Company, and later established herself in the Kannada and Tamil industries. Ask her about the Bejoy-Dulqer film and she can’t contain her excitement. “I am coming back to this industy after five years; I couldn’t have asked for more. The picture looks bigger and better.”
Bejoy was always on Sruthi’s wishlist, apart from Rajeev Menon. “Being a ardent fan of director Bejoy, I had watched his film Wazir first day first show.
His body of work is interesting... I don’t know if I should go on sets as a fan or as an actor. But I am certain to be starstruck,” she says.The actor is equally happy to be working with Dulquer.
Sruthi will start on a short schedule. “It is going to be a new experience to be working with such a professional team. I am already kicked about starting shoot,” she says.
