It was actress, Rakshita, who recommended Puri Jagannadh’s name to producer CR Manohar, who was looking to launch his nephew Ishan to big screen. The producer took the opportunity to thank Rakshita at the grand audio launch of Rogue, held on Thursday. “It all happened during my discussion with Prem for a project, when I expressed my wish of Ishan getting into tinsel town. Rakshita who is a good friend with Puri from Appu days, immediately called him and put two of us together. I am glad Ishaan got this big opportunity to be launched by Puri,” he mentions.
Puri, who spoke at the event said, “My assocation with Kannada cinema goes long way back having done films with Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar. They have always been like a family to me. I am now closely associated to CR Monahar’s family with Rogue.”
Ishan felt blessed to have the entire family at the audio launch, which event saw the presence of Sudeep, telugu actor Srikanth, Mannara Chopra, Angela Krislinzki, Ali among others.
