The filmmakers of Mass Leader has added a glam quotient to the movie by bringing in Sharmiela Mandre for a special song. Initially they had pitched for Bipasha Basu and had even considered Ragini Dwivedi.
The actress was last seen in Mumtaz after which she made her move to B-Town with Katha, which is now in the post-production stages. The actress’ next Kannada outing is Aake, directed by KM Chaitanya, and it will soon be out in theatres.
Sharmiela’s Mass Leader song is being shot at a resort in Ramanagara, which will be done over the next three days. Ramanagara became famous after a part of Sholay’s shoot, the Basanti song that featured Hemamalini, was done here. Joining Sharmiela is ‘hatrick hero’ Shivarajkumar along with Vijay Raghavendra, Yogi and Guru Jaggesh among others.
Apparently, a huge set has been erected for this song at a resort, which has cost the producer around ` 50 lakh. The song is being shot in a sizzling desi style with an Arabian theme.
Mass Leader directed by Narasimha is being produced by Tarun Shivappa and Hardik Gowda and featurs Pranitha Subhash in the lead along with Ashika Ranganath and Krishna Vamshi among others. The film has music by Veer Samarth and cinematography by Guru Prashant Rai.
