Manvitha Harish has been given a different get-up for her upcoming film Relax Sathya and she says it reminded her of the nursery rhyme ‘Chubby cheeks, dimple chin, curly hair, very fair, eyes are blue, lovely too’.

“They wanted to show me as an angelic character, Maya, which is my name in the film. Therefore I set my hair in curls, wore coloured lens and looked lovely,” says Manvitha, who has managed to have a different look in all her films including Kendasampige and her forthcoming films Tagaru and Kanaka. “This causes people to forget the real me and only know me by the various characters I have played,” she says.

Relax Sathya is director Naveen Reddy’s second film, and it is  a crime comedy. “Why can’t a social problem be dealt with in an entertaining manner? I decided to try adding humour in crime,” says Naveen, who is all set to finish the talkie portions and says that it should be done in the next ten days. “Only the songs will be left then,” he adds.

Relax Sathya, featuring Prabhu in the lead, will have a director who marked his debut with Akira and who wants to break the rules this time round. “I want to try something new with the content, music and cinematography and need more time to present it right,” he says.

Manvitha says that shooting for Relax Sathya reminds her of Kendasampige days. “There are  few people on the sets, the budget is low, and there is fresh treatment of a subject... it’s like I have started all over again. I am also excited to be part of a crime thriller, which has a humourous take. I am a huge fan of Friends and Big Bang Theory series, and I hope this is a laugh riot,” she says.
