When director Yogaraj Bhat and actor Diganth come together for a project, you can be sure there will be a good movie at the end of it. The director-actor duo has done a few hits including Gaalipata, Manasare and Panchanrangi. Bhat was also one of the  producers for Lifeu Ishtene  starring the actor and directed by Pawan Kumar. We now hear that Bhat and Diganth have decided to come together again and this time for a sequel of a popular romantic comedy.

Bhat’s blue-eyed boy Diganth will be joining the director’s Gaalipata 2 sets, along with Ganesh, and now a little birdie tells us that there has been talk of making the Pancharangi sequel. If this does happen, Diganth will be back essaying the role of Bharath Kumar. The part 1 series had Diganth playing an easygoing younger brother who falls for the character essayed by Nidhi Subbaiah. The first part also had Ananth Nag and Priyanka Upendra playing  important roles.

Our source tells us, “The film, which was called a family entertainer by the critics, was well-received by cinegoers. It had all the elements that could spin a sequel, therefore there are dicussions around Pancharangi’s second part.” Though it is too early to decide on anything, we are certainly curious if the director-actor team will bring the same magic back on screen!
