Rarely do we hear a heroine appreciating another actress for her performance. But mention the name of Sruthi Hariharan to Shanvi Srivastava and she is quick to say, “She is an amazing actress. I really like her acting.”

Shanvi is just back from Malaysia, after completing 14 days of shoot for her forthcoming film Tarak directed by Prakash Jayaram. The actress has been paired opposite Darshan in the movie and also shares screen space with Sruthi. “She also talks a lot,” Shanvi says.
Acknowleding Shanvi’s compliments, Sruthi says, “She has done an amzaing job in this film and people are going to love her. This is going to be her best till date.”

Sruthi could also not contain her excitement, and her Instagram message says it all:  “Straight from the sets of #Taarak ... When you cant beat them you join them :D
Thus I joined this indomitable gang of boys - Devraj Sir, Darshan Sir and Prakash sir only to discover i can be man too (sic).”

Tarak team will be returning next week and  will be off to Italy for another long schedule from mid June.
Shanvi says that her schedule while shooting abroad is packed but there is a lot of freedom too. “Though there are people from South India who recognised us, we didn’t have to worry about being judged. The entire crew could walk around together, which could never have been done while shooting in India. Especially actress Sumithra, my mother and I did have a good time,” she says.
Tarak produced by Dushyanth has Arjun Janya’s music and A V Krishnakumar’s cinematography.
