Few directors remain stubborn about a movie’s script, like Vijayaprasad has been about Ladies Tailor’s. But now the director has decided to accommodate a few changes to keep the project alive.
Third film from the director was initially planned with Ravi shankar Gowda as the lead, and it nearly took off a couple of months ago. Then, there was a change in casting and the project had to be shelved. However, the director’s work has caught the interest of producer of Neer Dose, S Prasanna, who will now take on the project.
Apparently, Vijayaprasad has made changes to his script and has given up his hunt for a heroine weighing 120 kg. These modifications in the plotline has made it
interesting for Sruthi Hariharan, who the filmmakers believe to be a good performer.
We know how the actress listens keenly to the script before okaying any movie. Our source says that, for this movie too, she got a detailed script narration and she liked the way Vijayaprasad has approached the story. But that is not all, the actress has even taken a ‘look test’ to know if she fits the character and after that, she has given her green signal, says our source, adding, “She has been told to put on ‘some extra kilos’.”
This will be second film, after Beautiful Manasagalu, in which Sruthi Hariharan will be working with producer Prasanna. The latter is quite happy to be working with Sruthi again, who he feels is quite professional.While an official announcement about this project will be made soon, we hear that the cast has been finalised and the filmmakers are now planning to have the muhurath in the second week of November. Then they will shoot for the movie at a stretch.
This new combination of actors, director and an interesting script is sure to generate more curiosity among moviegoers in the coming days. The film will also feature Suman Ranganathan in a pivotal role, along with Ashwin Haasan among others. Ladies Tailor, with a tag 34:34, has music by Anoop Seelin and cinematography by Vishnu.
