Meera Jasmine survives gossips again!

With a handful of films in Malayalam and Tamil, the actress and her career look stronger and healthier than before.

KOCHI: Sampurn: Just when everybody thought that Meera Jasmine is history, thanks to all the series of gossips that kept surfacing in the media, the talented young actress returns with a handful of films, including filmmaker Saji Surendran's ‘Four Friends’. She plays the lead role in the film.

Saji, who is currently on a high after his ‘Happy Husbands’ became a box office topper and a critical success, is very excited to start off his new film as soon as possible.

Starring Jayaram, Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban along with Meera Jasmine, ‘Four Friends’ will be shot at locations in India and abroad. As the name suggests, the film is about four friends. It is scripted by Krishna Poojappura and will be produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner of Mulakupadam Films.

It is set for a July 18 release. The movie will go on floors from May 15.

Meanwhile, Meera Jasmine is working on a number of projects at present. Her Tamil films, ‘Adhi Narayana’ and ‘Malaiyoor Mambattiyaan’ are in their post-production stage while her other Tamil movie, ‘Pen Singam’ is still being filmed.

She is also starring in the Malayalam film, ‘Pattinte Paalazhi’.
