Meera Jasmine - Anil John

In her flowing white gown and floral tiara Meera Jasmine looked every inch the blushing bride as she walked down the aisle at the LMS Church, Thiruvananthapuram. The actress’ wedding to Dubai-based software professional Anil John Titus turned out to be a totally private affair attended by family and close friends only. All the events were well-guarded and only a handful of celebrities were part of the pre-wedding bash and reception held at Thiruvananthapuram. Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Suresh Gopi and Mallika Sukumaran were among the few invitees from the industry.

Meera and Anil were introduced to each other through a matrimonial site and soon they decided to exchange wedding vows. The national-award winning actress had formally registered her marriage in front of a sub-registrar at her Kochi home last week. As per sources, the newly-weds will be soon taking off to an undisclosed location for their honeymoon. The actress will be relocating to Dubai and there is no formal statement from her part as to whether she plans to continue with her career. Meera, who was last seen along Mohanlal in Ladies and Gentleman has two films Mazhaneerthullikal and Onnum Mindathe lined up for release. In her career spanning over a decade and four industries Meera has acted in more than sixty films.
