Jayasurya-starrer Captain, that was initially planned to hit the screens during FIFA Under-17 World Cup, has been pushed to November.
According to director Prajesh Sen, there was a lot of GFX work pending that the makers have decided to postpone the release.
"As of now, our plan is to release the movie during Indian Super League that will start on November 17," he said.
Captain, a biopic on the late footballer V P Satyan, has Anu Sithara and Siddique in key roles, besides Jayasurya.
The director, in an earlier interview, had mentioned that the movie will portray the life of the football star as it is, including his death scenes.
“We don’t intend to change or rewrite history. If there is any particular reason or cause for his death, we will feature that too,” he said.
