Ram Gopal Varma’s latest film Rowdy featuring Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu, has opened to an enthusiastic response, much to the delight of the makers. “It is definitely a good summer for all of us and we are thrilled to state that we have made money in the opening weekend itself with ticket sales surpassing our expectation in all the cities the film released. This was possible because of the tight budget we had worked on this film,” said the film’s producers.
The key to success in this movie is the pre-release buzz coupled with positive media reviews and the word-of-mouth that followed post its release. “We also see there is a lot of love for the movie as it brought back the legendary actor Mohan Babu in his natural avatar who stole the show in this film,” the producers added.
Rowdy, which hit screens on April 4, also features Jayasudha and Shanvi Shrivastav in important roles.
