Get ready for EverReady Boyz

A comical thriller about four men who are ever ready to do anything to get into the limelight, EverReadyBoyz is a film being directed by the grandson of veteran comedian T R Narasimharaju, S D Aravind. “EveryReady Boyz is a satire. My grandfather used to always play chapstick comedy and our first comedy film, will be more satirical and based on some incidents, which took place around us,” said Aravind.

The story which revolves around the four men who participate in a detective reality show happens in two days when an unknown person calls them and gives them certain tasks. In the process of doing this task, without their knowledge, they get into lot of problems. “How they resolve the issue is the story of this comical thriller,” says Aravind.

The film will showcase the lighter side of the big issues. “Be it electronic media, real estate, stress related sexual problem, reality shows and politics, our film will show the lighter side keeping these issues as our backdrop, which is portrayed by these four boys,” says the director who had previously made Jugaari with brother Avinash playing one of the heroes in the film.

“Coming from Narasimha Raju family, so many people asked me whether we could do comedy. Now that we are ready, we will showcase it in our way. The issues are current, which I am putting across in my way. It doesn't mean that I have to continue with comedy films just because my grandfather was a famous comedian,” he added. Apart from Avinash, the film will also have RJ Pradeep, Deepak and Praveen of Kabadi fame. The film might also include a famous humour song portrayed by their grandfather, Bhama Bhama. “This song is used in a very serious situation, which I am sure will be a hit among the listeners. Music director Hamsalekha wants to break from normal self and will now be going contemporary for this film," said Aravind.  According to the director, in today's reality show, we only see the best on screen and a lot of people are not aware what is happening behind the scenes. “In my story, there is no reality show happening. This one guy is shown conning people and such incidents have happened to few of my close friends, which I want to bring to light. My film is actually revolved around their experienceS. If I show it in a serious way, people will not accept it. That’s why I took the comedy route,” he says.
