How it would be when you realise that two ghosts are living along with you in your family? Sounds interesting? This is what happens in 'Ananthapurathu Veedu ', a film by Naga and produced by director Shankar’s S Pictures. Naga, who has directed mystery and thriller serials like 'Marma Desam ', 'Chidambara Rahasiyam' , 'Rudra Veenai' and so on, is making his big screen debut with this film. “I narrated Shankar four stories but he asked me to choose one and that’s how Ananthapurathu Veedu happened. It’s a thriller with family values and how we look at the relationships,” informs Naga.

Nanda and Chaaya Singh play the lead roles and child artiste Aryan makes his debut. There are four important characters in the film — husband and wife, their child and the house, which the story revolves in. The story takes place in Nagercoil. The highlight of the film is its graphics, which last about 30 minutes.

“The character enacted by Chaaya Singh is affected by claustrophobia (is the fear of being in closed place). Chaaya Sigh has done a lot of homework for this,” adds Naga. It’s only through Aryan, both Nanda and Chaaya come to know the existence of the ghost.

Bye to small screen?

“No. Soon, my serial 'Amuthasurabi' will be on air and I will continue to do serials, says Naga. Music by Ramesh Krishna, the film will hit the screens by June end.
