For the first time ever, actor and politician, Vijayakanth wields the megaphone and dons the grease paint for his upcoming flick Viruthagiri. Scores of party members and ardent fans were present at the audio launch of the film held at the Chennai Trade Centre on Monday.
The hall was filled with enthusiastic fans who were all praise of the ‘Captain’. Songs from Vijayakanth films were also sung on the occasion. Vijayakanth later spoke about the hassles he had to face at the time of releasing his previous films and also Viruthagiri. Produced by Captain Cine Creations, L Sundar C Babu has scored music for this film. Vijayakanth’s wife Premalatha, directors Cheran, Samuthrakani, heroine of Viruthagiri, Madhuri and music director Sundar C Babu were present at the gala launch.
