Is Lakshmi not on board yet?

Refuting reports that Lakshmi Menon is being roped in as the female lead in Sivakarthikeyan’s next, Rajini Murugan, lyricist R D Raja took to Twitter to confirm that the decision is not finalised. ‘The heroine of @ThirrupathiBros @dirlingusamy producing @Siva_Kartikeyan starring  @ponramVVS directorial venture is not yet finalised,’ tweeted Raja, who has earlier worked with Sivakarthikeyan in Maan Karate.

Rajini Murugan is set to begin shooting by mid-August. It was earlier reported that the heroine’s role will be a feisty one, which includes the character performing some street fights with other women.

The film is set in south Tamil Nadu and Sivakarthikeyan will play a real estate broker in the film. Soori will be playing Sivakarthikeyan’s comic sidekick and will have Samuthirakani in a negative character.
