Yuvan-Shankar-Raja.jpgAce music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has quit twitter. The composer had tweeted last week announcing his conversion to Islam, on the microblogging site. Now City Express has learnt that Yuvan has left the networking medium on Tuesday.

Though Yuvan was unreachable despite attempts to contact him, a source close to the music director, confirmed the news to CE. Apparently, Yuvan did so because he didn’t want any distractions from his career.

“Yuvan is a very private person. Despite that, he cleared the air of rumours and made an announcement on Twitter regarding his conversion recently.  But after that, Twitter was proving too much of a distraction with people misusing the medium of communication.  His personal beliefs being his own, he didn’t want to be disturbed by anything. He is very busy with his film projects and has no time for anything else. He didn’t want his attention to be taken away from his work  so he decided to quit,” said the source.

We learnt that Yuvan is busy with Kunal Deshmukh’s project in Hindi, titled Shatir, for which is he composing the music. Emraan Hashmi is the hero and Yuvan is currently giving it his focussed attention. Looks like Yuvan would rather let his music speak for him.
