Venkat Prabhu is a man on a mission. After directing Karthi in Biryani the same time last year, the Chennai 600028 director has begun shooting with Suriya for his next project Mass.
The film, that was announced three months ago, started officially filming in Chennai on Tuesday and will continue for the next three weeks.
Suriya, who has just wrapped up Anjaan and is carrying a slight limp after a minor accident, was not involved in the initial scenes, but Premgi was in full swing, according to sources with the film unit. Suriya begins shooting soon at a house located just outside the city’s limits. The film is touted to be a semi-horror flick with Poochandi as one of the tentative titles.
