Cameraman Gavemic U Ary, who shot Siddharth’s Jigarthanda has moved onto his second Bollywood film.And it’s not new for this soft-spoken, Tamil speaking, Pondicherry born, cinematographer with an unusual name. His very first film was Mastram, directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal. Speaking to CE, Gavemic reveals, “The film’s story is written by NiteshTiwari, who directed Bhootnath Returns with Amitabh Bachchan and is co-produced by Salman Khan. His wife, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, is turning director with this movie.”
Gavemic, who is eager to be part of films with engaging scripts, is clearly excited about this project. Says he, ‘’When Jigarthanda came to me, I was hooked to the story and I wanted to be a part of the project at any cost!” A major part of the film, which is titled Nil Batey Sannate is set in Agra. The heroine of this woman-centric film isSwara Bhaskar who played Bindiya, in Dhanush’s Ranjhanaa. So is he working on Tamil films as well? “I’ve got offers from Kollywood and I will be signing on one film soon,” he says.
