For Director Harsha and the team of Vajrakaya meeting Dhanush was more like meeting a friend. "We made the right decision of opting for Dhanush's voice for one of our songs, which goes like... Strong itthu body weak ayithu nina nodi. It was easy to approach Dhanush as he and Shivarajkumar are close friends. The actor has great respect for the Rajkumar family and had no second thoughts about singing the song," said Harsha.

According to Harsha, Dhanush did not have any difficulty with the Kannada words because he had practised it a few times before he came out with the final version. "We got to know that the he is familiar with Kannada because of his wife Aishwarya who apparently speaks fluent Kannada. He understood most of the words in the song," Harsha said. Though Shivarajkumar and music director Arjun Janya have met the actor at various occasions, the rest of the team who were meeting him for the first time felt he was a humble star.

"Before he went into the recording studio, he sat with all of us and spoke about films. He mentioned that he has great respect for Shivarajkumar and was very glad to sing for his movie. After he came out of the studio, he spent almost an hour taking pictures with everybody," Harsha said.

The picturisation of the song sung by Dhanush will take place sometime in the end of November or first week of December.
