'Ko2 is Definitely Not a Sequel!'

Ko2 featuring Bobby Simha, Prakash Raj, Nikki Galrani and Bala Saravanan in the lead and directed by debutant director Sarath is almost at the end of its shoot.

Sarath, who was formerly associated with directors Vishnu Vardhan and Chakri Toleti is excited about the response  Ko2’s first look and motion poster have earned across. He is also visibly excited about directing national award winners Prakash Raj and Bobby Simha in his debut film.

“I wanted my film to be something different from the current trend and that is why I chose a political thriller. When the script was finalised, we thought of going along with Ko which was a block buster with similar powerful content. What better title than Ko2 which would inherit the franchise of Ko. To clear the air, Ko2 is not a sequel of Ko. Still, it will surprise you,” says Sarath.

“Directing two national award winners in your first movie  is an exciting experience. Prakash Raj sir was very much happy with the script. He went through the entire scrip and now, in every shot he keeps creating new magic. Bobby Simha is a thorough actor. Getting a national award at a very early stage of his career  proves what you are capable of. He is a director’s delight. He delivers more than what is expected of him. Bobby Simha’s role in Ko2 is of a brave young man. Their competitiveness in acting is a pure delight to watch,” adds the young director.

“We are introducing Leon James as the music director. The film will bring to light the menace in the life of a politician. Ko2 will be a real treat,” he signs off with a smile.
