audio launch of Jigina

THe title jigina has a lot to do with the three Ls — live, love and laugh. The film’s audio was launched by the National award-winning children of Kaaka Muttai fame. The boys, who stole the hearts of the audiences with their sparkling and effortless performance in the widely-acclaimed film, were roped in as chief guests at the launch.

Jigina, true to its name, had a lot of glitter at the audio launch held at Suryan FM recently. The film starring Vijay Vasanth and Saniya Tara is being directed by Ravi Nanda Periyasamy of Oru Kallooriyin kathai fame. The film will be released under the banner of Thirrupathi Brothers.

Talking about the decision to rope in the child artistes for the launch, N Lingusamy said it was about recognising the power of small-budget films in the current scenario.

“It is the era of the small-budget films and young actors  are the best names to represent the small-budget film circle in the industry. After all, they are the status symbol of the current scenario in the Tamil film industry, where small films provide oxygen to the film industry. Content-oriented small films are the golden eggs. As for Jigina, it stands true to its name with plenty of glitter. My company’s track record with content-oriented small films like Vazhakku en 18, Sathuranga Vettai, Goli Soda and Manja Pai to list a few, has been phenomenal. I am confident that Jigina will follow the same path,” said Lingusamy.
