J Satish Kumar, who is one of the producers of director Bramma’s Kuttram Kadithal and now owns the world rights of the film, is planning to take the film to a diverse audience. The producer has revealed that efforts are on to remake the flick in Hindi.
Talking to City Express, Satish Kumar or JSK as he is better known, says, “Shraddha Kapoor is likely to play the lead character in the Hindi version. We haven’t signed anything. We are also planning to make the film in Marathi. The plan is to make both versions simultaneously.” JSK, who has a penchant for picking outstanding scripts, was the man who produced the critically-acclaimed Thanga Meengal (2013).
Interestingly, the producer is also looking to take Thanga Meengal too to a bigger audience and this time, the audience isn’t confined to just the Indian sub-continent. “We have decided to dub Thanga Meengal in Korean as well. A Korean concern has already acquired the rights,” JSK adds.
