Actor Rameez Raja, who has played the lead role in one of the most awaited films of the year, Darling 2, is now the hero of another Tamil film titled Ultaa. Incidentally, Raja’s own firm will produce this film. Shooting will begin even before the release of Darling 2. Ultaa is to be directed by Vijai Balaji, an assistant of director A R Murugadoss,

Talking to City Express, Rameez Raja said, “It is true. I will be playing the lead in this film as well. Janani Iyer plays the heroine. After we finished Darling 2, we came across this script that was exceptionally interesting and therefore chose to produce it ourselves. The narrative is laced with humour.”

Darling.jpgSo, what is the film all about? Explains Raja, “This is a film in which the events that occur in the second half will actually be completely in contrast to the events that happen in the first half. That is the reason why the film has been titled Ultaa. Shooting for the film is likely to start in February this year.”

So, when will Darling 2 release? “We are very happy that the film has been procured by Gnanvel Raja’s Studio Green. They are looking at the possibility of releasing it on Valentine’s Day in February this year,” says Raja.
