If sources in the industry are to be believed, actor Simbu has struck it rich! Yes, you read that right. The theatrical rights of the actor’s much awaited film Idhu Namma Aalu, which has been directed by Pandiraj and which will feature Nayanthara as the female lead, has been procured by Thenandal films for a whopping sum.
Confirms a source, “ The TN theatrical rights have been procured for Rs 28.90 crores and the audio rights of the film has been bagged by T series for a sum of Rs 1.10 crore. The audio is likely to be released on February 3, which happens to be Simbu’s birthday.”
Sources in the market also hint that the film’s overseas rights too have been bought sold for a whopping price. Informs the source, “In all, the film has been sold for a sum of Rs 60.90 crores. This has made everybody close to the actor rejoice. ”
