Yes, if sources present at a recent function held in Sholingur in Vellore district,are to be believed, Kalaipuli S Dhanu, the producer of Kabali, disclosed that the film had already done a business of Rs Eight crore in the United States alone.
Kalaipuli S Dhanu reportedly said, "I am producing Kabali now. In what is a first in the history of the film industry, the film has done a business of Rs Eight crore in just the US.Even if there is an Income Tax raid on account of this information being shared, I don't mind. But that is the truth."
The film, which is being directed by Ranjith, has triggered huge expectations amongst fans and will feature Radhika Apte, Dhansikaa and a number of stars apart from Rajini in it.
