CHENNAI: Vadivelu, who at one point decided to do only hero roles, has now chosen to revert to his original style of doing both — hero and comedian roles. He plays a comedian in actor Vishal’s next film, Kathi Sandai, and took part in the pooja of the film here on Monday.
“From now on, it will be a two-way track for me. I will do both hero and comedian roles. I have signed up for several movies in which I appear as a comedian throughout. Suraj, who is directing this film, knows how to extract my best from me,” the comedian said.
Vishal will work with Tamannaah for the first time in Kathi Sandai. Speaking on the occasion, Vishal said, “This film will present another facet of my acting. Vadivelu and I worked together in Thimiru (2006) almost nine years ago and succeeded. We are joining hands again for this film. Even I am waiting to watch and enjoy his comedy in this film as a fan.”
