CHENNAI: Nitinsathyaa, who rose to fame with films like Saroja (2008), has turned producer. “I am confident that more good films will emerge from the stables of Friday Magic Entertainment. This has been on my mind for a long time and I am collaborating with my friend Blaze Kannan,” he smiles.
Nitin believes that when actors become producers, they tend to have more control over the film. “We will encourage budding talent. The idea is to make my team believe in the film. I won’t be acting in the films that I produce,” he adds.

Awaiting the release of Chennai 600028 sequel, he says, “The film is like a re-union of sorts. Venkat Prabhu insisted that we begin the sequel from where we left the original. The magic of everyone being together has translated on the screen. The censorship is done and the film will be released by this month.”
Nitin has a couple of scripts that he needs to check to produce. On the acting front, he plays a small role in S III. “I play Suriya’s friend in it, but not a cop role. Besides this, I am a part of Pandigai. I have undergone a makeover which is why I was maintaining a low profile all this while. The makers were keen that I shouldn’t reveal my look,” he tells us.
