The Karthi-starrer Kashmora, directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013) fame, has been getting a tremendous reception at the box-office. After seeing the film, Suriya is all praise for his brother Karthi.
“I hugged him when I saw Paruthiveeran (2007), but now I stand a few steps away in awe - Thambi Dei Kalakkitte. Your work in Kashmora blew my mind,” he wrote on Twitter, adding that he didn’t see this coming as Karthi never told anything about the film to his family.
“You all took me by surprise. Now, I have a new benchmark to reach. Gokul and team have taken our Tamil cinema beyond unseen frontiers. The cast and their comedy timing, the camera, production design, costumes, dialogues & CG work shine in every frame,” he added.
Suriya’s tweet further read, “It’s tough to act in a VFX-led film where the atmosphere has to be imagined while acting. Rajnayak and Ratnamahadevi rule and light-up every scene. My heartfelt congratulations to Dream Warriors for this magnum opus. This is a full-blown big screen entertainment. Do watch it only in theatres.”
