Action packed trailer of Ajith's Vivegam crosses two million views in 12 hours

Starring 'Thala' Ajith, the trailer of Siva's 'Vivegam' has become a huge hit among fans.

The two-minute 24-second trailer has already crossed 26,88,112 views in twelve hours.

The movie marks the third collaboration between director Siva and Ajith after Veeram and the super hit Vedalam.

The trailer shows Ajith Kumar in military costume, fighting a militant group in snow clad locales as well as doing some heavy duty action sequences.

According to the Kabilan, one of the writers of the movie, 'Vivegam' is based around global terrorism. The film will focus on an antisocial group and 'AK', played by Ajith who is fighting them.

The film directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi films has cinematography by Vetri. Songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander, including 'Surviva', had already become chartbusters.

While Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead, the makers have roped in Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi for a major role.

The movie also has Akshara Haasan and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.

Vivegam had earlier made news, when it pulled in Rs 120 crore in the pre-release business including Hindi version satellite rights (Rs 50 crore), Telugu version satellite rights (Rs 26 crore) and other distribution rights.

The movie's teaser had made the record of 50 lakh views in 24 hours, breaking a record set by Rajinikanth's 'Kabali'.

The film is all set to release on 24 August 2017.
