Express News Service

Santhanam, who has a slew of releases in the pipeline such as Server Sundaram, Oodi Oodi Uzhaikanum, Mannavan Vanthanadi and Dhillukku Dhuddu 2, has now commenced work on his next untitled film. Directed by debutant filmmaker Johnson, winner of Naalaya Iyakkunar’s fourth season, the film will be a romantic entertainer.

Speaking about the film, Johnson says, “It’s the story of a happy-go-lucky girl with a wavering mindset who falls in love with a local guy who minds his own business. The relationship will be interrupted by someone else and what happens to the lead couple at the end is the story. The film will be shot completely in Chennai.”

Also starring Bollywood actor Tara Alisha Berry of Mastram fame as the female lead, the cast includes Hindi actor Yatin Karyekar, Telugu actor Sai Kumar, and Rajendran. Produced by Raj Narayanan of Circle Box Entertainment, the film has cinematography by Gopi Jagadeeswaran, editing by Leo John Paul and music by Santosh Narayanan (who is collaborating with Santhanam again after Server Sundaram).
